G’Day from V Australia

There is a new airline in town, a new airline is lighting up the Pacific skies from Down-under to tinsel town.

V Australia the new, refreshing, flamboyant boutique airline from down under boasts one of the youngest fleets flying the Boeing 777-300 series aircraft on its trans-pacific voyages from Australia to Los Angeles.

V Australia is the first airline to fly the 777 aircraft type trans-pacific to the USA from mainland Australia offering travelers another way to fly across the Pacific on the super quiet, environmentally friendly and super efficient aircraft. With the Boeing 777-300 being more efficient than its nearest competitor in its class V Australia will look to pass on the savings to its beloved travelers.

With less than three months since V Australia took to the skies with its inaugural service to Los Angeles from Sydney’s Kingsford Smith International Airport on February 27, 2009 and opening a second trans-pacific service from Brisbane on April 8, 2009, the boutique airline has experienced a flamboyant entry into the market and become a serious player on the trans-pacific route.

With V Australia keeping in line with its ambitions to fly from Melbourne starting September 15 to compliment the already established Sydney and Brisbane services it will deliver even more options for travelers and a new refreshing way to fly.

The new airline enters the market boasting a full range of products giving travelers a new taste of Australia. V Australia’s spacious three class configuration offers something for every traveler from its International economy and premium economy class to the state of the art International Business class.

The all new RED in flight entertainment system comes to the forefront to satisfy every passengers taste buds featuring on demand movies, music, games and a whole lot more all on a new 9 inch fully touchable and handset controlled screen. What else could you desire on your next voyage across the Pacific Ocean?

When you thought it was as good as it gets V Australia has stepped it up a notch offering mood lighting across all three classes for each phase of the flight relative to the time of day making each and every journey a relaxing and enjoyable one.

Coupled with V Australia’s new interline deal with Delta Air Lines to offer its travelers a world of opportunity to 379 destinations worldwide as well as seamless connections to all the major US cities and a vision to future environmental sustainability with its carbon offset program V Australia is placing itself in a league of their own, a new shining star flying the Pacific Skies.
Almost three months since it first took to the skies how is V Australia doing? It has been documented that V Australia’s introduction into the market has forced price reductions. Is a price war looming? Are these prices here to stay or is it just a market entry sweetener?
The question may loom of where to next for V Australia? But With news that it will offer mobile phone, blackberry and PDA connectivity that passengers can utilize during flight on board its state of the art aircraft to compliment the already implemented in flight entertainment system the question could may well be answered as the sky is the limit for V Australia and where to next may be somewhere unique and in a class of its own.
